Famous chicken fried steak was okay. I hate to say that I have had better. Carrot cake was very good. All homemade and perfect service.

Breakfast is always delicious here! The chicken fried steak is my favorite.

Good classic dinner. They were very busy when we went but the food was still good and the service was friendly even while busy and a bit slow because of the crowd.

Went on a holiday, very busy, one waitress and one cook. Dishes everywhere, we bussed our own table to help out. The food was very good. They were doing the best they could for circumstances, I felt for them. I would go again, just not on a busy day.

Oh man what a wonderful breakfast! Great homemade hashbrowns... YUM! ! I had s veggie pottery with bacon and it was HUGE. I wish I could get something that big fit this price in Portland... Well definitely be back everyone I pass through. :-) Thanks Shelia!

My favorite is the biscuit and gravy section because of how much food you get for cheap but all of their food is delicious. The staff is always welcoming and friendly.

Good food, great customer service and a small town comfort. They were very patient when we showed up and needed space accommodation for our group (4 adults and an infant...we had a walker for an adult and the stroller with carrier for the baby). They were also patient with us needing to wait for someone to arrive and the fact that we were all catching up and took longer to order. We never felt rushed or unwanted. Thank you!

We stopped in for lunch on our way from Rainbow Falls State Park to Schafer State Park. The mister ordered the Clam Strip Basket and I got the Fish and Chips. Service was fast. Portions are huge! Both the clams and fish tasted fresh. French fries could have cooked a bit longer, but that's personal preference.Super happy they were open on July 4th - will visit again when we come back to the area.

Food was great.... But the reason I go there is because of the waitress Aimee.. She is the kindest, happiest, sweetest waitress EVER!!! Our food was prompt, never had an empty glass.. My blueberry pancakes even had warm maple syrup... I love that girl!!!

Just to share our experience. We went here for a late breakfast/early lunch and the service was very poor, the food was not prepared properly, the orders were not delivered as asked for and the waitress got mad when questioned and swore with the “F” word at my wife. We were told we couldn’t order what was on the menu because they didn’t have enough employees and could not serve what was ordered. Very poor service, very poor food and a terrible time was had at this establishment. The good part was we went to Slatters Restaurant and had wonderful food, wonderful service and a great time! The manager of Slatters on the day was “Colby” and she is a wonderful waitress and the time we had there was great!

Surprise new favorite spot, this place was a simple treat along a road trip of the coast and I would highly recommend a stop!

Well, we have eaten here several times, and always good food and acceptable service. However, this last time was not so good. General uncleanliness, unbussed tables, and unskilled service. After getting terrible coffee, we waited over a half an hour for a simple omelet and pancakes. We finally decided it wasn’t worth it and went to pay for our coffee. Lo and behold, our meals were sitting in the window ignored. So, if you are OK with locals being served first, awful coffee, and cooks foolin’ around in the kitchen instead of cooking, then check this place out. (We went to Pitchwood and got great service and food. Just FYI)

The food is very delicious from what I have ordered when I come out for a visit the staff is very inviting as soon as you walk through the door temps are right when brought to you I have not had everything on the menu but I know when I come up again I am bound to stop by again for sure keep up the great work everybody my rating is 4.5 will just get better as time passes

The food was very good. My wife loved her taco omelette. I had oysters and eggs; it was yummy. The waitress was rather impolite and somewhat of a slacker and rude. Kind of weird that she asked if I wanted my change back and never said thank you. 4 out of 5 🌟 s.

I had the Hobo's breakfast, which was amazing. The phrase in the menu that got me was "...piled high on a bed of hashbrowns." It was so DELICIOUS!!! The biscuits and gravy was tasty too. Incredible food and great service!

Great breakfast and yes I had awesome oysters with my breakfast as I could not pass up the chance! Service was great and the atmosphere is down home style which was a nice feeling.

Good breakfast! The biscuits and gravy weren't quite what I expected. The biscuit was like cornbread- but not corn. Didn't quite quench my b&g craving. But the hash browns were awesome.

Amazingly generous portions, awesome biscuits, everything we ordered was excellent. Also extremely reasonable prices. Cute signs around the place and friendly staff. Really glad I found this spot on a short pass through Raymond. Biscuits and gravy and omelot were particularly impressive in both size and quality.

We had one of the best breakfasts we've ever had there. My husband's chicken fried steak was almost as big as his plate. Everything was great, from the service to the food. We'll definitely be back.

Had breakfast this am for hubby's birthday. Waitress was great and so was the food. I had the meat omlet. Omg , it was the best ever. Lots of meat and cheese. Worth every penny. 10 stars.
